My husband, Don, died on Feb. 2nd of this year. My grandson, who is 5, keeps asking where Grandpa is? His mother and his schoolteacher have told him he's in Heaven with Jesus. He attends a private Catholic school so he knows about Jesus, heaven, prayer, etc. He doesn't seem to be upset, but he must not understand because after a while he'll ask again where Grandpa is. Our grandchildren spent a lot of time at our house but when Don got ill it so ravaged his body that by the time he died he didn't even look like himself. I'm not sure that the last time the grandkids visited Grandpa (the night before he died) that they even realized it was Grandpa. Do any of you have any advice on the best way to explain this to a child? I think Gram believes Grandpa is just visiting Jesus and is wondering when he'll be back home. Thanks everyone, Linda
