Last Christmas I was still feeling very bad and hurting so much for my husband - I still do, but from about April this year when I had a major meltdown with a lot of other things happening but most of all when Johns sister died as well which was devestating, I decided I wanted to live again, and live properly.
Someone gave me for Christmas Katherine Jenkins CD and on that was Brian ADams song 'Everything I do, I do it for you' and that has truly become my motto - now, coming towards the fourth anniversary of my husband death, this is the motto I live by - endeavouring to hink how he would have had me live - and doing that, for him...
have any of you had songs or music that have meant so much to you? or elevated you, or something, in some way?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
These are the songs that spoke to me.
When I get where I'm going-Tim McGraw
I'll wait for you-Joe Nichols
You'll be there-George Straight
Last Dollar-Tim McGraw
Also, Elton John's Funeral For a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding.
"If the sun refused to shine
I would still be loving you
If the mountains crumbled to the sea
There would still be you and me
My Love is strong
With you there is no wrong
Together we shall go until we DIE"..
I cry everytime I hear it now.
Finding this time of year so hard, as he died on December 1 '05, it will be two years in a few weeks. That is why I play the music that makes me cry I think, I feel so sad right now.
