Spicy Garlic and Lime Shrimp
~~ from sparkpeople ~~
Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 clove garlic pressed
1 pound peeled shrimp
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/8 teaspoon dried thyme
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
Directions
Mix all dry seasons together in small bowl.
Preheat a large skillet over medium heat.
Add oil to the pan.
When oil is heated, stir in garlic.
Immediately add shrimp.
Squeeze lime juice into pan over shrimp.
Sprinkle entire seasoning blend over shrimp.
Saute shrimp for 5-8 minutes.
This dish has a kick to it!

I am sure this would cause a fight at the dinner table. When it comes to shrimp my oldest always counts to make sure we all have the same amount. So if you here me complaining about flying food you'll know we loved it LOL

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
