One of out ex members who was a friend of mine once, is only in his early 50's. My husband is the same age as the rest of you viet vets. I figured out that Wally would have only been in his early teens when you vets were all coming home, and still at school, then going on to college for his degrees, he has his masters in something. Does your country differ in ours in somehow someone of that age can go to vietnam and carry 80lb something through a jungle, get ptsd, be a marine and do all this in that time span? Cause down here we seem to have a different set of rules on age and education and so forth. I just cant understand the differences, to send someone so young, and somehow get his education done too. I know we differ in many ways.
