I became a vegan 19 days ago (after reading Skinny Bitch) and love it! Avoiding animals at meal time is the easiest part of being a vegan; it's the criticism and lack of support from my friends and family members that is difficult. Last year I became a vegetarian and my friends and family managed to cave me in and I started eating meat again (I can't believe I allow them to push me around like that). But this time I am prepared with much more information so I'm not going back to eating animals - EVER! But how do I get my friends and family to accept me and support me instead of treating me like I'm an alien? I am looking for a good quote that I can use regularly that will make them respect me and my food choices. I thank you all in advance for your support :)
