It really depends on the size of your varicose veins and if the phlebologist is using foam sclerotheraphy or conventional sclerotheraphy.

I had conventional sclerotheraphy done three years ago, and I had to go back four times. But the truth is, even after a "successfull" treatment, your varicose veins can come back. I learned that here:
