Hi! I have posted here once before, as I am still waiting on a diagnosis. I just got my doctor records as I am seeking a second opinion. My transvaginal ultrasound showed lining was 1.5cm thick (7 days before period) and a hetergoneous lining. They found no masses and everything else looked normal. I was scheduled to have a D&C with an ablation but I backed out of it after doing some research. I requested my ob do another endo biopsy first but she said I didn't need another one and she saw nothing alarming on my ultrasound. I had a biopsy over a year ago that came back normal. I feel she just wanted to do surgery to shut me up and couldn't give me a reason for my bleeding problems. After reviewing my doctor records and her saying I was an anxious person and spent allot of time worrying, I decided to get another opinion so I am scheduled for an appointment with a new doctor next week. I have had spotting between periods off and on, painful intercourse, and sometimes spot after intercourse for about 2 years now. I have had a normal period with 2 days of heavy bleeding every 28 days since I was 12 years old and never skipped a period ever to this day. My old doctor said since I was only 34 and not overweight that I have no risk factors but had I been over age 50 she would have been concerned. I was wondering if anyone thinks those ultrasound results are a red flag or if I could just be periomenopausal? I don't know why my lining would be thick if I am having normal periods every month. Sorry for the long post, but I was just looking for any information out there. Thank you for reading this and I wish you all the best as you fight this disease.
