hello ladies and friends:) just found this site and found it most helpful and grateful that they are people and places such as this for all of us. i was diagnosed with Stage 3A not too long ago. still recovering from my full hysterectomy almost 6 weeks ago. and that was a brutal procedure and recovery process. i felt i was doing so good with recovery until the chemo. the chemo kicked my ass. i had intense back pain and still do- not sure if this is due to the surgery and incision- sleeping habits etc. or just effects of everything. the intense leg pain was something i never want to feel again and hope it is not as severe for the next treatments- spent the night in the ER due to rapid heartbeat and over all pain- they checked for clots and gave me an IV - keep hydrated ladies at all times to hep your muscles. Popsicle and pedialyte. this is something you cannot prepare for. 10 days after and i still have the tingling in my legs- calves mostly. i describe the intense leg pain as when you hit your funny bone0 those seconds that it had pain like you just got zapped....that was the leg pain for days....ugh. today is a better day. might get out to do a little shopping for myself- a clue that was given to me for hair loss was get your hair cut real short so you get used to it- so i did- and today i just watched some hair come out as i sit at the computer. but let me tell you of the support system that surrounds us- i went to get my hair cut from a local place that works with the ACS- the cut was free..:) we tried on wigs...:) we gave hugs cried and bonded thru our experience together. how blessed are we all to have ladies out here who take the time to run establishments like this for us. i also went to studio 51 cleveland downtown to get a free wig. they had a good selection there and again was amazed and blessed to have the support of everyone involved. Scott Hamilton runs a program called the 4th angel. - if you look it up you will see that maybe you will be able to be blessed with a 4th angel match for you!. i have a long road ahead but i am using my resources to move forward. the Gathering place is also a great resource center- they have yoka. tai chi , meditation and support classes and the list goes on for things that are at our disposal for us to take advantage of and get connected to help ourselves feel better and know we are not alone. check our goodwishedscarves to get a free pretty scarf for yourself. lets all stay connected to hear one another and support one another thru this very trying time. it is and has not been easy. i have a wonderful support system and my 218 year old son keeps it real for me and helps me focus on his life and less on my pain. i am a young mother and cry alot because of the unknown...but i get comfort knowing how much we are supported by people and organizations:) i am currently readying The 17 second miracle- it s a great book and i look for my 17 sec miracles that people do all day long- have a blessed day everyone.:) thanks for reading

I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
