I have been widowed for 2 yrs now. My Husband of 35 yrs passed away suddenly from lung cancer. It was a shock. I moved out of state with my son and daughter in law for a new start. I am living in Charleston, SC. I have had trouble meeting people down here who understand what I am going through. My pastor has offered help, but every group he wants to send me to is 65 and older. No offense, but I am alot younger than that, at least 15 years, I am at a different time in my life. I still work, I am still young! I want to meet companions, male or female. Someone who can just understand what I am going through. Have you all heard of any groups that you can attend in person that isn't for elderly widows?
