Hey girls! I am pregnant with identical twin girls and am 17 weeks today. I was at the high-risk doc yesterday for an ultrasound and they told me that they are concerned that one twin is at 6 0z right now and the other is measuing at 5 oz. The doc mentioned a 25% difference in weight (not sure where his math came from here) but that it is normal for them to be 5-10% different but not 25%. To me this seems a little early to be warning us of premature deliveries and possibly losing the little one. Has anyone else been through this? I guess I will be going to the high-risk for more ultrasounds now to watch their progress for growth. Has anyone had this happen and had a happy outcome? The doc just didn't give us much hope of anything yesterday which really makes me mad. Any advice or stories would be great for my nerves right now! Thanks and hope everyone is having a good Wed!
