At my first Dr's appointment I was given a bag full of baby magazine and parenting magazine samples. In almost every one is a list on what you should buy in order to be 'materially' prepared for when baby comes home. However in all this material there isn't a sub-section that tells you what additional things you need when its twins. Some are obvious of course such as you need 2 car seats. Or how bout a tandum stroller? but others aren't so obvious. How many extra binkies for instance should you have on hand? Or what about burp cloths, bottles, clothes, ect? Is it a little extreme to double whats on the list or maybe the list isn't correct anyway... (the list does say to get 3-4 receiving blankets and almost everyone I know says "try 6-8 instead"). Since I'm pregnant with kids 1 and 2 I'm starting from scratch here and want to start getting things together now to ease the financial burden of buying everything at once. What should I buy and in what quantities?
