Alright, this may be a totally stupid question, but I have to ask because I don't know! :-) I'm currently 34 weeks pg with twins. My ob has scheduled my ultrasound for May 7, however, she's not so sure I'll make it that far. At my appt last week, my cervix was still completely closed. Here's my question - can you go into labor even though your cervix is closed? Would you just experience frequent contraction?

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. Are you seeing your OB every week???She will keep track but if the twins are your 1st pregnancy, you will have plenty of time (many hours) before the C-section. In my 36th week, my water broke and it took 5 hours for the contractions to start. My girls were in the right position, so after an epidural the girls came out 10 minutes apart. That was 26 yrs ago. I wish you luck and happiness on the greatest, most wonderful journey in you life.
