I am scheduled to deliver my twins via c-section in three weeks and I'm wondering how all of you handled accepting visitors in those first days home. I'd really, really like to keep it to just family, but even family can be over-bearing! :-) Any thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks!

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My identical girls are 26 yrs old now and mothers themselves. You are about to begin the most wonderful journey of your life. Enjoy.

Be honest with people, and remember, whoever is there can help around the house! Cook, clean, whatever needs to be done! I know people just want to old babies, but if they are coming over they need to help you out!
This may sound harsh, but I didn't want my newborn twins to get sick from anyone and I was worn out. I welcomed the help from my mom and MIL. Also, many of my visitors brought us food which was great!!!!
