I posted this in the Pregnancy After Loss/Infertility Group and wanted to share it with you ladies as well.
I inserted this poem with my baby shower invitation and received well over 60 storybooks to read to my twins. I would rather my guests spend a few dollars on a book that on a card that will be read only once. Here it is
Although Cards are Nice
Theyre Read only Once or Twice
A Book is a Treasure
Forever and Ever
So instead of a Card
To be put Aside
Please give Jennifers babies
A Book with your Name Inside
It need not cost more than a Card
Just pick a Favorite, it shouldnt be Hard

My best girlfriend, who threw my baby shower did just that. Everyone brought a book as opposed to a card. In many cases, a book is actually LESS expensive than a nice card...What I love is that all of the guests were asked to write something in the book, so everytime we read one, we know who gave it to us...It is a truly awesome gift that just keeps on giving!!!

We did this for my baby shower too, and we love reading all the inscriptions to our little ones and I think they will cherish them when they are older.

theatre and I are there already. I'm having a very berry tea with crackers, cheese and cherry tomatoes and she's having a joint with some beer and we're both on really comfy recliners on thick pile carpet. we need some help with the decor if anyone is around??

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
