I too am nervous about possibly having a c-section. I'm gonna let my doctor know that if at all possible I want to go natural. I know that if things get hairy it'll have to be c-section and I agree that better safe then sorry but I hear its harder to recover from c-section then vaginal. I hope things go well for us both. Tho I still have another 5 and a half to 6 months still to go before I should have to worry.

My doctor told me to count on a C-section because it is more likely and so I would be prepared. I have had so many surgeries that I am not too worried about it, but I would rather go the way nature intended.

39 weeks c-section. Both babies were breach...and my motto when I was pregnant was that they are going to come out one way or another...I just hope not both...I did not want to have a vaginal and THEN a c-section on top of it and told my doc that and he said that he would not let it happen. If there was any chance that I was delivering both ways...he would just have me go c-section and that was all I needed to hear...So i just did not stress about something that I was not going to be able to control...Just relax and enjoy being pregnant. What will happend will happen. I understand your fears and your feelings are valid...just try to be as happy as possible and try not to worry about it. The recovery for me was secondary to tending to the twins...your maternal instincts kick into overdrive and healing becomes a natural course of everday life. You will be ok, sister...and we are all here for you!!

I was 33 weeks emergency c-section. It was a piece of cake, recovery was not a prob because like lizzy says you are way more focused on the babies.

c-section at 37 1/2 weeks. I was all set for a vaginal birth, however, complications casued the emergency c-section. I recovered nicely within 3 days. C-section is the way to go in my book.

Hello! I've actually had 3 c-sections. First two were singletons at 40 and 38.5 weeks, and the twins were born at 35 weeks. The first and last sections were emergencies. PLEASE email me if you want details! I don;'t mind helping...I know how anxiety can set in when you don't know what to expect. Take care...>nancy

I was 38 weeks and 2 days with my girls. I had a c-section and wouldn't have changed it. I had my son naturaly and I think I had more pain with that then with the c-sec. By the time I had them it didn't matter how they came, I just wanted them out. Hope you have a wonderful holiday season. Good Luck with the rest of your pregnancy and enjoy the time you have before the the "big change"!

I had a c- section at 37 weeks wit hmy twin girls. I was very scared but soon came to realize that being able to scedule your section at a specific time was nice as well as the pain meds that are given right away,, no labouring, and it is over very quickly,,,your babies are here in like 20 mins. There is alot to be said for a c -section,,i mean it is very scary going under the knife but to have no labouring pains is well worth it!!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
