Being on bedrest and having little ones

deleted_user
My husband and I just found out we are having twins. I am only a month along. My son will be 2 1/2 when the twins are born. I know I am asking this kinda early but just finding out we are having twins, my mind is racing with concerns. I know a lot of people go on bedrest with twins. What has other people done in the past when put on bedrest and still have little ones to take care of. My husband works during the day so its going to be me home alone with my 1 1/2 year old son. Any good advise.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
what I did was have extra help from family and friends...and if I had had the means I would have hired someone to come in a few days a week to help with meals, cleaning, laundry etc (maybe you could get an eager teenager to help out) or maybe arrange some playdates while your husband is working, too....
plan for it in case the need arises but do not stress over it...this is a time of celebration! there are such wonderful days ahead of you =)
