I had a CT scan last night because the last two days I had terrible cramping and sharp pains in the right side of my abdomen. They thought I could have appendicitis or a problem with my ovary. So they ordered a CT scan and the first palce I went decided I should get a pregnancy test done first and an ultrasound. So they took blood and did a pregnancy test. The test results said I wasn't pregnant. They did the ultrasound and everything looked normal. They said my ovaries were fine and didn't have cysts. So since the test was negative for pregnancy they said it should be fine to do the CT scan. I asked them if they were sure there was no possibility that I could be pregnant and they said yes that they were sure. So I did it and I had to sign a form that said that I knew I wasn't pregnant. I had to make sure I didn't need my appendix out. So I'm wondering if maybe it hadn't implanted yet if it could still cause problems. Or the blood test they took....could it predict pregnancy as soon as 5 days? I'm kind of worried that I may have messed up this month for myself if I did conceive. Anyone have expereince with this or now much about implantation or blood tests? Please let me know.
