My wife has had TN for more than 50 years. It is somewhat controlled by tegretol. The current concern is that she has a cataract in the eye that is on the same side as her TN and she is very worried that the cataract surgery will cause more problems with her TN. She has been to several neurologists including one at Mayo Clinic and all seem to be in the dark on how to advise her. Has anyone out there experienced, or heard of anyone who has experienced cataract surgery in association with TN pain?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
