My neurologist never told me if I definitely have TN or not. What I can tell you is that my teeth and my neck are the trigger and I can be fine for weeks and then suddenly horrible for days/weeks. I have not tried any rx meds for this - only chiropractic care which does manage the pain fairly well. The most troublesome thing for me are my teeth and god forbid if I need dental work that really sets it off. When my teeth flare up I get a horrible feeling as if there is a lit match to each tooth root in the affected area. Along with this I get neck pain and occasionally head pain on the same side or a headache. From what I've read though TN is described as facial pain and I don't have pain in my face or cheeks. The worst pain seems to be in my jaw and teeth. Does anyone else have something similar to this?

I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...
