Hey guys. I haven't been on here in a while but have been reading posts. I recently had a remission that lasted a couple of months but then had to have some dental work done and about a week later started having shocks again. It was okay for a few weeks just shocks here and there. However the past week has been absolutely horrible. I feel like there is someone taking an ice pick and shoving my teeth through my gums and then also stabbing my gums. It is absolutely the worst pain I've felt in my life. I have had these pains before but after about a 10 minute episode it would go away and then I would feel okay for the rest of the day. This time however I'm having attack after attack and it definitely seems to be at its worse in the morning. I have been taking so much medicine and I'm not sure it's even working that well. I had been taking the generic form of trileptal and I went to the dr on Thursday because it didn't seem to be helping much and he gave me tegretol. I have been taking these two together until I wean off the trileptal and today I haven't felt as bad. I was actually able to eat a little bit. I'm only 29 and have 2 small children so it's just like sometimes I can't believe this is happening to someone as young as me. My oldest son is 4 and he knows that something is wrong with mama which is aweful but sometimes when I'm having these attacks I just can't help but to cry it out. I just hope that since I'm not feeling as bad today and haven't had to take as much medicine that means I might be going into another remission and that without having to have dental work done that maybe the remission will last a little longer than last time did. Thanks for listening to me rant and any advice is surely appreciated!!!
