MRI confirmation of the artery stepping on the nerve. The pain started very suddenly, so within a month I did Dentist-Doctor-Neurologist-Neurosurgeon.By December because of unusually cold and windy weather here in Puerto Rico I went from 2 Tegretol@200mg to 5 a day.Now I'm down to 2 or 3 right now. From what I've read my situation will not fix itself nor get better with time. Neurosurgeon tells me that MVD surgery has better results if it's done in the first two years before the nerve protective coating is affected. Not sure if I should keep doing meds for a while, or have a doctor drill my skull so he can keep his PORSCHE!!!!!
