I did a search to see if there were any clinics dealing with trichotillomania. My search ended in nothing close to home. I thought to myself, has anyone seen or heard of a trichotillomania convention. They have conventions for all kinds of medical problems and I would like to see if I could go to one. Some time in the future it would even be nice to plan one myself. I live about 2 hours from Orlando, FL and would probably make that the meeting place. I feel as if people who are dealing with this would make some progress actually MEETING people in person who do the same thing they do. We all have such a deep connection with what we do. After watching youtube specials about trichotillomania, I'm glad to see that this isn't a psychological problem but a medical one. Like turoettes (SP?) syndrome, it's a tick that we can't physically quit just like that.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
