I work in numerous salons and at one of them there is a tricoligist, i asked him "my sister has trichotilomania what causes it"? (yeah right) He told me that it usually starts when some one is creative, very expessive person, an individual? It causes the condition to start when the person feels trapped, isolated, surpessed, not being able to be his or her's self with no escape does that sound familiar to any body? When he told me that statement i felt like he was telling me my life story, my hair stood on end! With 2% of the population suffering with this condition, the later part of that bit of info rings true don't you think? ;-)
