Hey does anyone have some ideas on what you could put on your scalp to help heal the sores? Or even something to make your scalp feel better? It hurts me to shampoo my hair. This is a little embassing to say but it does. Does anyone out there have this problem along with hair-pulling? I think a lot of the reasons for me doing it is because I have real bad nerves, I'm real nervous at times. I have had this problem with sores on my scalp on and off since I was nine years old. I used to watch my mother dig at her scalp when I was growing up. It was a hidden thing that she used to do also. I never would have emagined me pulling my hair out when I was a little girl. I didn't think it would turn into anything more serious like the hair pulling. And when I was a little girl, I would have never thought that one day I would grow up and be bald because I pulled my own haair out by the roots! Life sure has had some surprizes in it for me! Well, one things for sure I hate the fact that other people lost their respect for me and for a period of time, so did I! Sincerely, one who is in recovery!
