I was just wondering...does anyone else have an issue with straightening, organizing, cleaning house, etc? I desperately want to keep a tidy house, but whenever I try to really clean or straighten I get totally overwhealmed and of course....start hair pulling. I am getting so frustrated and am so tired of having a house that looks like a tornado when through! It makes me feel so incompetent. I can deal with work, etc and be organized, neat, and efficient but this house thing is getting the best of me. Does anyone have any suggestions? Do you think this is related to trich or just me?

Have you ever felt lonely but yet surrounded by people? Do people really notice you and even care your there? It's so weird but sometimes I have deep thought as I question my life overall. I'm new to this support group and just wanted to get some advice. I've been struggling with anxiety since I was 13. I'm 26 and have been on anxiety medications for a couple of years now. Dealing with this for over a decade I sometimes struggle to give myself a positive anchor thought or to believe that I'm actually going to be okay. I handle and cope with my anxiety well most of the time and I...
i think instead of taking on cleaning your whole house at once you should focus on one task at a time. and dont plan on doing the whole house in one day. if you make the job smaller and more spread out your stress over doing it will probably also lessen
So, as suggested, just choose a short amount of time to do a particular area, and stop after the timer goes off.
This helps as you can see what you accomplished in a short amount of time and then by the time you do this several times in a row, you can keep it up a little easier because there is less to do.
Hang in there!
Focus on what you are doing at the moment- if your mind wanders- do not be mean to your self! Slowly go back to what you were doing. Slowly- deep breathes- focus.
This will help you not take the whole house as too much-but one thing at a time! Hope this encourages you and helps your anxiety.
