I have found that if I take "Robitussin" (cough medicine) that it causes me to have the "itchies" on my scalp. It becomes IMPOSSIBLE to stop pulling out my hair if I take the medicine. I have also found that if I eat peanut butter and milk chocolate chips by Nestle that it causes me to get the sensations too. Perhaps its the sugar levels? The only thing that I find alleviates the desire to pull (other than pulling) is by pulling my hair back into a very tight ponytail. Does anyone else find that certain foods/medicines trigger their hair pulling too? I've done my best to keep track of what foods (or medicines) that bother me, so that maybe I can find some sort of similarities between the different factors.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
