I just wanted to keep this on the table here... the amino acid treatment is still working. I've hit a plateau now and need to have a urine analysis to check amounts of neurotransmitters in my system. This will let Dr. Reiff know how to proceed... which supplements to tweek. The awesome thing about this is that once a person gets balanced, they may not need to take as much. Some are able to stop taking the supplements altogether. Some must take them for the rest of their lives.
I am still so amazed by the way I feel. The negative voices are so quiet now. I still pull, but it's so much less. Skin picking has gotten better, depression is lifting, and the anxiety and need to control things is nearly gone!
Dr. Reiff told me he's gotten emails from 4 of you so far! He's glad to help! He's met with my counselor, too! She asked him why this has been such a big secret!! Can you imagine how many different things this could help for so many people????!! My prayer now is that it will hit mainstream medicine and be covered by insurance.
I have one sorrow with this. It's expensive. I have a dear friend and her daughter who are struggling with depression and bi-polar disorder, among other things. She wants to be on this so bad, but just does not have the money. I hate the fact that there is help, but money stands as a barrier to some who so desperately need it. That is so wrong!! Marc and I are struggling to stay afloat with this as well. The only way we are managing is that Dr. Reiff is allowing us to pay as we can. We are trusting the Lord for his provision and He is faithful.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Please see my other posts for more details about it. I've posted it in discussions and in recommendations.
I would advise anyone to try this!!
That's good news too.
How did you speak with Dr. Penzel? Do you live in that area?
It must be nice to live near doctors that treat this disorder...
I have had no such luck here.
Sounds good!
Please print out the info I have in Recommendations and take it to your dr. I'm hoping more healthcare professionals will begin using this and a wider range of people will be helped!
I really wonder, though... there are different ones and must be taken in conjunction with each other. I don't think they could get a patent on something easily available over the counter.
just wanted to repost! :)
It's working so well! I can't imagine going without it now! I don't want to feel the way I used to again. The urge to pull is not totally gone, but it is so much easier to control! I'm doing it less and less all the time, and am beginning to notice good regrowth!
Merry Christmas!
