So a month ago I had an easy wisdom tooth extraction. Since I have developed TMJD in my right jaw. The pain in my jaw, ear, temple, eye, and face is controlling my life as of now. I have seen my oral surgeon four times and he will no longer give me pain meds and says he can not help me. I have been to my regular dentist, ER three times, and an ear nose and throat doctor. No one can or will help me. When I run out of meds I'll never make it through a day the pain is so severe. I am away from home until Oct 1st and wont be able to see a regular family doctor in which I have to find a new one. My husband is overseas in the Military and is due home very soon. Until then I have to try and get treatment here in DE. Any advise would be great. I am on 5mg perocet, 600mg IBpro, 5mg valium, hot moist compress all day long. I can get the pain to ease but three hours into meds the pain is back full force. I tried to eat a slice of pizza today and went out of control in pain. I have lost 10lbs since this becan and I am scared. Any help out there for me? Any hope?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
