It just got really bad in my right ear-

Hey. Haven't been here for a while.

It got worse just a few months ago- I have post-concussion syndrome.

I first got it when I was 20, but it faded over time.

But less than an hour ago, it just got really loud in my right ear. I usually don't notice it til I go to sleep.

This really concerns me. Anyone else experience this?

My tinnitus periodically gets worse for no apparent reason. There are days that it is so loud that nothing else will drown out the sound, but after a few days it does settle back down. My tinnitus,however isn't caused by a head injury though. Have you talked with your doctors about this? Did something happen the few days before the noise increased that might have led to a worsening of your tinnitus like an increased amount of stress. These are questions that I ask myself when my tinnitus becomes unbearable. Good luck and I will keep you in my prayers.

Thanks for the response.

It first started from loud noise over 15 years ago, but got worse some months ago from the TBI.

Maybe I have too much earwax. I tried not using earplugs part of last night. Could be the caffine in the tea.

    I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

    I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
