Hi Is there anyone else around who has had a cholesteatoma removed, I have just had my second op, and told I will need another in 6 months. Since my op the pulsing noise has not stopped, it did ease a bit after the first op, but not so lucky on the second op. I keep waking up in the night. For a few seconds it is quite, Then when i am fully awake. Whosh its back. I have my staples out tomorrow then i hope i can lie on my bad ear to ease the sound.
