Has anyone tried acupuncture for tinnitus?
If so, what was your experience?
If not, would you consider it?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Gained a few insights into my underlying stresses that invariably worsens the t.
On a few occassions I walked out with my t less bothersome than when I went in, but most treatments didn't seem to affect the t much, if at all.
It was more a meditative experience than anything else.
On a few occasions, I had electrodes placed on some of the needles (similar to a tens unit). Those sessions seemed to have the most beneficial effects. I think she hooked em' up to the needles in my feet.
Worth it in the overall? Probably not (at least for me), but I'm glad I tried it.
I might go back sometime.
It was a relaxing experience. And I seemed to sleep slightly better the nights after the 5 treatments, at a time where my sleep and anxiety were completely out of control. But no change in the T volume whatsoever.
This treatment was covered by the french healthcare system. I wouldn't recommend paying for it if you expect it to reduce T volume. But it might be worth it for the relaxation. But if you ask me going to a hot tub or a spa treatment would probably be better money spent for relaxation! =)
