a successful way of "living with it"

When tinnitus, hearing loss and vertigo all started at once, I knew I had to get on top of it right away. I decided I could not have a negative emotional response to T. I decided that T was not a good thing or a bad thing, it 'just was'.
I refused to let myself have any negative thoughts at all. I worked on this attitude and I have virtually no emotional reaction to T at all; it just is.
I was fortunate that I started working on this idea within 2 weeks. So if your tinnitus has just started give this idea a try. If you have had it for a long time, but it drives u mad, it can still work but will take longer to negate the build up of negative reactions to T.
This is my way of "learning to live with it."
Hope it helps someone.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Bepolar too ha, cripes and me rabbiting on about emotional control.
Your right though, Ramona, once negatives have been repeated for years, it can take years to negate them, but that's no reason not to try.
We go off to uni to do 3 or 5 years study to get where we want. With life problems, if that means 3 or 5 years to control emotional responses to undesired things. Well so be it. We will be stronger in the end for the trying.
Glad u got a laugh, i'll repeat short hand another series of posts that made me laugh.
Bloke 1 says, "should i try XXX cure for my Tinnitus."
Reply by bloke 2, "I bought the Brooklyn bridge once, but i can't sell it back."
Bloke 3 says, "did the brooklyn bridge help ur T?"
So Ramona, keep trying to overcome and laugh when u can. Best wishes, God bless
