I was trying to get down to the goat pen to make sure all my little horned friends were ok, I had left them inside all day but a neighbor had stopped by earlier to visit them and threw some hay. I skidded to a stop but the water bottles I was lugging down for them continued their journey without me. Game over, can't make it down there, just hope they are ok. Then I redirected to the horses, a little closer skating challenge, and went down like the old proverbial ton of bricks. My poor old Lymie back is KILLING me now. And to make it worse, when I finally got to them and threw them hay, they were chasing each other across the ice in a "your pile is bigger than my pile" fiasco that had me shaking with fear (horse legs are pretty easily broken). It would have been better to have left them alone. So now I am sore as heck, worried sick about my critters...if you think of it, send us some positive prayers or vibes please. I am scared to death for the horses out there on this!!!

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
