Has anyone had any experience with this? It is extremely rare, so we are told. Had thyroid removed with many nodes (positive) in December, just had the radiation treatment (isolation for 3 days) last week. Went for scan this week which showed thyroid cancer is in one ovary. What can we expect? Is this curable? It is so rare we can't find much online that addresses our questions...even the doctor was shocked and has never seen it. Should we seek specialized care (Mayo clinic, etc.)? We need to talk to someone who has experienced this.
