I'm going to be meeting with an endocrinologist next week to discuss doing an iodine treatment. I just had a full thyroidectomy (had Thyroid cancer) and am taking Cytomel. I am told I'll have to be off my meds for a couple weeks before treatment and I'm worried about how tired I'm going to get. Can anyone who has been through this, please, tell me what to expect (for energy levels) and what kind of support I should get in place for this. I'm worried that I'll be wiped out and unable to take care of myself, is this totally unfounded or am I on the mark? Thanks so much for any comments.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips.
