Here we go again. I had a TT on Nov 14 2007 and since then I have felt numbness and pins-and-needles on my pinky and ring fingers. My endo says these are normal hypothyroid symptoms (and that they will go away once my hormone levels adjust), but I started on Synthroid two weeks ago and these sensations wont go away. I have an appointment with her next week to do a blood test (just a sort of follow-up after surgery and maybe adjust Synthroid dose). Has anyone had such symptoms, if so, did they go away after being on Synthroid for a while? I had thought that once on Synthroid my life would go back to normal but it is kind of frustrating to keep finding new and different obstacles. I just want to have my old life back. Can anyone provide some guidance?
