I'm new. Had thyroidectomy/radioactive iodine for cancer in Oct. One of the symptoms I had that prompted me to seek help in the first place was a chronic and painful sore throat and pain on both sides of neck. This disappeared after my surgery but 3 months post-surgery it is back. If I press my throat or neck it hurts very much. Most of the throat pain is one sided. I'm doing a lot of throat clearing also. I do have a small hiatal hernia and I've always had post nasal drip and allergies. This sore throat is different and never goes away. I also have pain on swallowing. I've had a neck sonogram, MRI's (as part of my cancer treatment, of course,), I've had an endoscopy (looking for esoph. cancer), and I've been scoped twice by the ENT. Does anyone else have these symptoms? I am very worried and in a lot of pain and discomfort. Pain relievers do nothing. I'd appreciate any help I can get. Thanks.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
