I am 3 days post RAI and I'm feeling very nauseous with this weird tase in my mouth and same weird smell, does this sound familiar to anyone and how long does it take for these symptoms to pass?

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Things in general smelled weird and tasted weird to me. The smelling went away pretty quickly.
I am still getting my taste back for things and I had RAI 2 months ago. I found myself putting seasonings on things even salad to get some flavor. And I loved chocolate before RAI and now it is just okay to me.
Remember that with the RAI it effects you salvia glands so that could be part of it.
Some people feel like they have the flu. So I think with the nausea you may be getting some of that. Hopefully it will pass quickly.

It sure helps to get back on the thyroid supplement, being Hypo is worst then radioactive.
