Christmas is tight this year.
I will be making bedroom slippers for you all as gifts. You'll most likely agree that it's a splendid idea, and should you wish to do the same, I've included the instructions below. How to make bedroom slippers out of maxi pads:
You need four maxi pads to make a pair.
Two of them get laid out flat, for the foot part.
The other two wrap around the toe area to form the top.
Tape or glue each side of the top pieces to the bottom of the foot part.
Decorate the tops with whatever you desire, silk flowers (this is most
aesthetically appealing), etc.
These slippers are:
* Soft and Hygienic
* Non-slip grip strips on the soles
* Built in deodorant feature keeps feet smelling fresh
* No more bending over to mop up spills
* Disposable and biodegradable
* Environmentally safe
* Three convenient sizes: (1.) Regular, (2.) Light and (3.) Get out the Sand Bags.
I've attached a photo of the first pair I made so that you can see the
nifty slippers for yourself.... (CHECK OUT THE PHOTO GALLERY)

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
1) Take an orange:
- thread string or ribbon through the centre to hang (optional)
Decorate the orange with cloves all over or in pattern of your choice.
This makes a good festive room freshener and christmas tree bauble too.
2) Oranges can be sliced and dried in the oven slowly for more xmas tree decs - If youhave some liquid glue and glitter you gave glitter the edges once dry.
3) Tie some cinamen stick with ribbon (makes another tree dec)
4) 2 weeksbefore christmas collect holly with berries, tie branches and add bow of orange, red or gold crepe paper, then hang on your door or wall for some festive fun.
You must be so creative, what made you think of this?
can't stop laughing!
