good morning all,
let's thank Mother Earth today!
i was so beat yesterday, i read about your days and laid down for a nice nap. the wait was short for the jab, so i had plenty of time before leaving for that appointment. somemhow, the paperwork i'd filled out wasn't there, so repeating that was obnoxious and the wait was long, but i finally got to see the dr. briefly and discuss pain and plan. i wasn't impressed by his bedside manner as he seemed to fly in and talk like an auctioneer and fly out, but he did say fibromyalgia and PT directed toward that, a body scan and some meds additions, so that all seems reasonable and hopeful.
i don't have any noticeable side effects from the jab. understandably, i was very tired yesterday and that continues today. i'd be happy to a movie day. i had a slight sore throat when i woke, but a few sips of juice helped that. i had a queasy spell where i felt clammy and weak, but that was gone in about 20 minutes, so i'm hoping that's it. i see my PC today, then have the massage i'd bout a groupon for way back. i'd forgotten about these services completely until they emailed that they're about to expire, so that should help with old aches and new i say with a slight bit of trepidation. i sat in my car yesterday summoning the strength to walk up the hill to the building, i was wondering about feeding myself, so i was so relieved when i walked in and miss bobbie was handing out the senior meals i'm on the list for. we get 2 per week. one was b-b-q, baked beans and collards, so i warmed that up later and ate half and crawled into bed shortly after that.
it's still in the 30's here with clear blue skies and no breeze. it'll warm up into the mid 60's today, so more sweater weather which is great. i'll be driving from one side of town to another for my appointments today and this seems like a nice driving day. after that massage i'll probably come home and melt into the sofa! i'm holding myself to nothing more.
empathy, i hope work isn't too bad today. have you found anything to help with your feet? i'm glad you and doug are going ahead and plannig a get away. you both deserve it after such a rough time.
toni, i hope your plants get through this crazy cold spell. oh yeah, the coming full moon is supposed to be pink and it's strawberry season, so it's the pink or strawberry full moon. that's what i've heard anyway.
moonie, hope you saw your pals at the library and that you got to catch up with some regulars.
sending out good vibes dor a smooth day all around.
hugs n hope

Over cast and cool but we're driving to Camp 18 in the mountains for lunch. It's a beautiful 90 minute drive through mountains with a forest and flowers of beauty. We will dress warmly. Many people today are remembering their Mom as is Mario. He lost his Mom to respiratory failure as she was weakened by her previous cancer treatement. Mario's Mom and Dad gave the ultimate sacrifice in sending...
