Hi i found this and i thought it was a good idea to talk about what i have. I am 16 years old and am a female. i found out that i have syringomeylia (that might be spelled wrong not a good speller) the doctor found this about 2 1/2 months ago. i have had back pain ALL of my life and now its starting to get worse i cant feel half of my arms or legs i will have tingly sensations in both hands and feet. i can still walk though but i fall alot. i have my first neurosurgeons appointment on oct. 12 and am very nervous/scared. my syringomeylis is located from my c6-t9 i have seen the mri images and can figure where it is. its not small but its not huge either seems medium size i guess. i will have back surgery and it might be in December, we will see. so please anything u can say will be helpful.
Thank You :)
