Syringomyelia is a disorder in which a cyst or tubular cavity forms within the spinal cord. This cyst, called a syrinx, expands and elongates over time, destroying the center of the spinal cord resulting in pain, weakness, and stiffness in the back, shoulders, arms, or legs.
Has anyone else with syringomyelia had vision prob

I had a syrinx shunted in 2000, came out of surgery worse off then going in. In the last year i have had vision problems which were treated with solumedrul. Finally in Nov 07 they decided I have MS. I had been tested for it before but it never came back positive. Now I have to decide if I want/need to add more drugs to my already heavy dosage every day.
