I was diagnosed with SM as a result of a doctor injecting my neck, and going too far and hitting my spinal cord. I was hospitalized for a few days. The MRI show a cervical syrinx. He said this will heal, don't worry, obtain a follow up MRI in 6 months and discharged me. My referring doctor was horrified, and said she has never heard of this happening before. I have burning in my body. My doctor said this is a Posttraumatic syrinx due to the trauma on the spine. I don't know what to expect, and frankly very scared. Can anyone offer direction or any words of encouragement?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
