Sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) is any sudden and unexplained death of an apparently healthy infant aged one month to one year. SIDS is responsible for roughly 50 deaths per 100,000 births in the US.

I was just wondering what everyone is doing for Thanksgiving? Do you have traditions or are you planning anything for your babies?




We are suspose to go to Ohio to visit my dad! yay! He is kinda mad that we are coming up cuz he said it would be hard to see us without the baby...but whatev...this will be the last time we see him due to us moving...bar hoping in Ohio here I come!! haha

this will be our second Thanksgiving without Nick, last year his funeral was 2 days before Thanksgiving...so a year ago that day I was still living one minute at a time. This year will be bittersweet with my recent addition. I think Thanksgiving morning I am going to put up Nick's Christmas tree (I have a pic buried within my photos). I do want to make sure he is included in the day...each year his tree is going to get a new angel ornament for Christmas...

B's birthday falls on Thanksgiving this year, 35. So me and my old man are going to his P's house so him and his twin can celebrate their bdays. Then on Friday we are going to go see my brother that i haven't seen since Nathan died. I'm also Stopping by the cemetery to say hi and take down his thanksgiving stuff. They put the wreath blankets up so nathan's kind of clashing right now.

Our Family will be celebrating Makayla's 1st Birthday on Thanks-giving with a Dove Release at her grave...she is in Pinelawn Memorial Park
so it does not look like a morbid cemetery...it resembles a park...

Because we lost my mother in law a month before Joey - I will be having Thanksgiving at our house. That way my Father in law and brother in law have a place to go for Thanksgiving.

We will be going to my parents house in NJ. Not too bad of a trip about 2 1/2 to 3 hrs from RI pending on traffic on rt 95. My family will be there and then for x-mas the long 12 hr. drive to NC.

We are hosting Thanksgiving. I was just planning to say a little prayer to Andrew before we eat.

I will light a candle for Madyson, and the angels here and take a moment of silence for them.
I always light candles on holidays for our loved ones. Not sure why I do it, just always have. I guess cuz it makes them feel closer and that they are with us always, especially on holidays.
I will get an angel ornament for Madyson's parents for the tree, and add one to our tree also.

    I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

    I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
