Has anyone read the book "The Shack"? It is rather disturbing in parts and then in other parts is so poigntly true. It is about a man who lost his daughter to a brutal kidnapping/murder and his sort of spirtual jouney subsequently. I was just wondering if anyone else read it and if so, what are you thoughts/feelings. One line or part that really stuck out to me was when Jesus was talking to him about his daughter...he said, "she was your joy. that is purpose enough for her." I had to read, re-read, and read again. I was mad and put it down and came back to it and actually found peace with it. She was my purpose so I hope that her being her was her purpose too. I am not overly religious but this book is different. I can't even really decide if I like it or not!

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
