Hello all! I am new to this group. As my profile states, I recently had a stroke nearly 3 weeks ago. I am frustrated because I still have double vision. The room still spins frequently and I have the worst balance of anyone I know. Before the stroke, I was an avid motorcyclist, riding 12,000+ miles last year. It seems that I can't find much to do anymore that brings joy to my heart. I am contemplating suing my chiropractor, as I feel he is responsible for the drastic change in my life. I lost a $50k per year job, my passion (motorcycling), and am usually too tired to accomplish much of anything during my day. I cannot sleep and my left side of my body is always "pins & needles". My right side has no temp sensation and sexual stimulation is all but nil. Please, somebody, tell me it gets better than this? I need to see the light at the end of the tunnel but my vision is so poor I can't even find the tunnel!
