A stroke is an acute neurologic injury where the blood supply to a part of the brain is interrupted, either by a clot in the artery or if the artery bursts. The brain perfused by that artery no longer receiving oxygen carried by the blood and dying with cessation of function from that part of the brain.

Anyone else, like me, experiencing tingling, burning, numbness, and electric-shock-like shooting pains on right side of body? If so, how are you dealing with this? Thanks.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...

I recently rejoined as, (Thankfully) my CP is intermittent, and usually starts up when the temp is below 65.

There are meds they can give you, all make you sleepy until you adjust to them... For me, I either have to be in pain or stay home, take the meds and sleep.
