My husband has had many strokes. I have seen worse after strokes. I must say. His is a weakness in all of his limbs, short term memory, headaches, leg nerve damage and speech. He is also a diabetic and has a blood clot. He was cleared to have breast surgery next week. Has anyone had surgery after strokes? Is there anything you did to help with the recovery? He has maybe 1 good day and 6 bad days. On his bad days he mostly sits/sleeps all day. Good days he might bake, cook or wash towels. I think he tries to help me because I still work.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
