I posted this on the seizure website but thouhgt I would put it here too...had another seizure on Thurs. this time at my new job..not fun..I went to my doc. on Fri. and he told me he was tired of me being mis-diagnosed by the neuros. and said he thought I was having simple partial seizures...anyone heard of this? I was astounded when I looked it up...OMG...its me! after 6 yrs. of being told its anxiety that is happening to me..when it never happened until the stroke...it took a family doc. to figure it out...where are the neuros. when we need them...why aren't they listening...anyway my doc. put me on tegretol now...I hope and pray it works..I'm still feeling really tired and I don't know if its from the tegretol or the after effects of the seizure...I've had a migrane since thurs.although its improving and about gone now...how long does it usually take for the effects of a seizure to go away? You can be awake and semi alert when you have a seizure...why don't the neuros. know this info...once we had a name the info. was real easy to find...
