Here are some remedies I've found to be really useful (and my panic attacks have caused me to ring an ambulance several times.) Please add to this as we go along.
I'm hoping this thread could be really useful to those who are very stressed and those who have panic attacks.
1. Breathing. Very simple. Breathe in for a count of 3, hold for 3 and breathe out for 5. Keep doing this until you begin to feel calmer.
2. Chanting.
Chant in a low, calm voice to yourself Om Mani Padme Hum which means 'the jewel is in the heart of the lotus' (loose translation). It is a very famous Tibetan monks chant. Keep repeating it to yourself calmly and quietly while breathing deeply, maybe with your eyes closed.
3. Listen to nature sounds. By this I mean rain fall, waterfalls, rivers, babbling brooks (I find the sound of water very calming), jungle sounds, bird song, whaetever floats your boat really.
Lie back and listen to these sounds while always breathing deeply and thinking about how warm and safe you are.
4. Guided meditation. You can either buy a CD of this, download an MP3 (or several) or you can go here:

Have a little listen to some of them and wait until you find one you like then follow the instructions.
I hope these suggestions ar helpful to you. i wanted to share them as they have really helped me over the last 4 days (and I know that's not a long time but they have made such a difference within that short period of time that I wanted to share them with you all)
Much love and many huggles to you all xxx

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
*hugs*
I also know about herbs for depression, ect so if you need any advice just ask.
